When I talk about neighborhood self-determination, nothing can match the spirit of South Park which is presenting the second annual Shakespeare in the (South) Park. Tonight, Sat and Sunday night, neighbors and some imported talent, will take the stage, actually, the grassy knoll, that is South Park Green.

It’s free. It’s fun, and it’s in South Park. You can park at Hope Lutheran Church or Emerson Academy on Hickory Street. The park entrance is directly across from James Street on Hickory, the second block West of Wayne Avenue. Show starts at 8pm. Bring blankets or chairs, and enjoy.

See you tonight- for “A Midsummers Night Dream”
